It would appear that a fishery “up the county” has had an escape event and some of the inmates, rainbow trout, blues etc. may have reached the River Avon. Whilst it is easy to have some sympathy for them, they remain an invasive species and therefor should you catch one, it should not, under any circumstances, be returned. At the time of writing I must confess the theme to the great escape is playing in my head.
