As usual the Beecraigs outing was a well attended (12 rods) event helped by the fact that it was held on a Sunday for the first time in many years. Unfortunately the boats were not in best order when anglers arrived with many holding a good measure of water following heavy rain overnight. It proved to be a dour day for most with very few 'tight lines'. Willie Orr hit activity on the roadside drift whilst others changed flies, lines and fishing spots to no avail.
